Community Guidelines
Effective: 22 August 2026 · Last updated: 22 August 2026
MATCHUP works best when everyone can focus on the game. These guidelines apply to profiles, games, messages, reviews, and meetups arranged through the platform.
1. Play fair
- Use a real profile and publish accurate game information.
- Be punctual, respect the arrangement, and communicate changes early.
- Respect skill levels, boundaries, and venue rules.
2. Respect people
- Harassment, hate speech, discrimination, threats, sexual harassment, and unwanted contact are not allowed.
- Do not publish nude, sexually explicit, violent, or unlawful content.
- Do not publish another person's private information or use MATCHUP for scams, spam, or unwanted advertising.
3. Report or block
Use Report on a profile, game, or review and choose a reason. Add concrete details that help us act. You can block a user so you no longer see each other's profiles and games and they cannot message you; you can remove the block later in Settings.
If there is an immediate danger, do not wait for an in-app review: move to safety and call your local emergency services.
4. How we respond
We review reports using the information available to us. We may remove content, limit an account, suspend it, or close it. In serious cases, we may cooperate with competent authorities where the law requires it.
